The primary purpose of this book is to provide brief personal and service information about all bomber pilots who made military flights in the winter, continuation and Lapland wars. The entry criteria for this book is for a pilot, spotter or electrician-shooter to have had at least one military flight.

To get a complete picture, the first half of the book includes the history of bomber aviation, which describes all its most important military operations. The text is enlivened by, among other things, extracts from performance reports and strength and grouping tables. The text is complemented by more than 1,000 photographs.
