Fairey IIID (Dutch Navy -MLD)

Beautifully executed finely 3D printed kits!

Including decals for Dutch Navy specially made for Aviation Megastore 

The MLD naturally needed float planes early on and this is how this type of Fairey came into the picture. 4 pieces were ordered for use on the naval cruisers and were delivered in May 1925. In 1926 to the Indies for use on the cruisers Java and Sumatra, but that was not a success. In 1928 the planes were "transferred" to the ML-KNIL but two crashed in 1930. The other 2 soon went out of service.

Sorry that the kits came out a bit more expensive but we all know the story...
