As in other portraits and films where the ambiance is important from a photographic point of view, Lionel Charlet treats aviation without a commentary or hysteria about power. Since 1995 he has produced almost 200 portraits of places, themes and personalities tackled with the same concern of the centring and his narration. He has also carried out the design and shots in flight so demanding in terms of effort, concentration and preparation and also surrealistic.
Lionel Charlet is presenting his best aviation films shot by himself alone for airforces and institutions, outside the formal fields of the media and their constraints including two new films in DVD, including the airshow Sion.
