Suomen Ilmailumuseon ilma-alukset (Aircraft of the Finnish Aviation Museum)

On September 24, 2021, it was 40 years since the Finnish Aviation Museum opened in its current location and 35 years since the event in the picture, when the Convair CV 440 Metropolitan OH-LRB was pushed into the museum's newly completed hall II. During those 40 years, the museum's aircraft collection has expanded from less than ten to almost 80 aircraft.

The collection of the Finnish Aviation Museum presents a cross-section of Finnish aviation history and the development of technology and aircraft construction. This book mainly presents the aircraft on display, but in addition to them, the museum's collections include dozens of aircraft engines, thousands of other aviation-related objects, and extensive photo, document and library collections.

This book presents the aircraft on display at the Finnish Aviation Museum. For each aircraft, the book contains an introductory text containing key information, a photo during use and a cockpit photo, in some cases a photo of the restoration phase.
