Mind: this product is an accessory to an existing or to a yet to be assembled scalemodel. The scalemodel is not included and needs to be ordered separately.
Trumpeter F-14 A and D undercarriage, in normal ground position.
This is a brass cast undercarriage and 3D printed parts set for the Trumpeter kit.
This set has mostly been redrawn in 3D, the design has been adapted to offer strength and changed and improved detail in some of the 3D resin printed parts. The parts shown in the CAD rendered views show the parts included in the set. The golden parts are the brass parts and the grey parts are the 3D resin parts. Note some red and blue parts are shown on the nose strut, these are also 3D resin printed parts, the red part is for the Tamiya kit option and the blue parts are for the Trumpeter kit, but for simplicity all parts will be provided in the sets.
The set is designed to be an almost drop in set, but some minor adjustment to kit parts may be need to install the new parts, but these are minor and will be detailed on the instructions.
Kit parts will be required to complete the undercarriage set.
Note brass rod is supplied for some of the linkage points.
All or most aftermarket wheels should fit as the axles have been kept to original shape, and sizes.
Note you will need to clean up some casting sprue gates from the parts and the odd small brass 'inclusions' that may appear through the casting process.
