Many customers who regularly visit the Luchtvaart Hobby Shop in the Netherlands request that we put aside one or more products, in order to collect them in person during their next visit to the Luchtvaart Hobby Shop. This saves on shipping charges and avoids disappointment in case the particular product might be sold out during their visit.

To address this increasing number of requests a special service has been introduced on the website. All desired products can be added to the shoppingcart. At checkout you will be offered the option to choose for personal collection in the shop. When checking this option, the shippingcharges will be deleted and the total amount to be paid for the order will be shown.

The following conditions have been established for this service:

1.       Order should be paid immediately and in full.

2.       If payment has not been received within 7 days, the order will be cancelled automatically.

3.       Customer is obliged to accept the reserved products.

4.       If reserved products have not been collected within 8 weeks after orderdate, they will be offered for sale again. Consequently customer’s claim will be restricted to refund of the purchase price of reserved products that have been sold after expiry of this waiting period of 8 weeks.

5.       Even after expiry of the waiting period of 8 weeks the customer remains obliged to accept the remaining products of his order.

6.       Conditions for warranty remain in force: claims are to be filed within 7 days of date of purchase (not date of pick up or delivery). Outside this period Luchtvaart Hobby Shop can no longer be obligated to replace or reimburse defect products if any.
