Product description

The Romanian Savoia bombers are the only aircraft produced in that country during the Second World War.
Though coming from SM79 Italian, their particular design and automation devices made them very specific.
These aircraft are much appreciated by their crews who kept a very good memory. This book traces their history.
The development of the aircraft, its commissioning and its participation in the war against both the Soviet Union and subsequently in September 1944 against his former allies of the Axis, are studied in detail.
The author has collected extensive documentation that includes an article published in Romanian Ion Taralunga long ago, many testimonies of veterans and a large amount of new information obtained in the archives of military aviation in Pitesti . This is the most comprehensive work published to date on this subject.
