Though relatively small by world's standards and flying antiquated aircraft, the Rhodesian Air Force of the 1970's were still a mighty force to contend with.
Past masters at buch-warfare, they honed their skills on the field of battle daily. From Fire Force action, deep penetration bombing runs over neighboring countries, reconnicence missions to just plain ferrying people and supplies, they were a vital element in Rhodesia's was against terror.
The three films here are the official films made for the Air Force and about the Air Force, from the days of The Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland, to the Rodesia of UDI.
This is their story.
Many of the planes seen in all three films are the same planes that still flew at the end of Rhodesia.

This dvd contains some extremely old footage. All our footage was converted from the original 8mm & 16mm film. We have been able to digitally enhance te sound and the quallity of the actually picture, but they are not full restorations. Whilist they are a vast improvement over the originals, they still remain what they are: old films.
