On the 18th of June the weather was clear and bright with temperatures exceeding the 30 degrees Celsius. The Air show was professional and was with time and while even emotional. History and future flew through the air on the airbase of Gilze-Rijen near Breda. A C-130J of the Royal Air Force, F-16's and Tornado's and a Spitfire and Lancaster of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight were continuously busy to amuse the public with their acrobatic turns. The Red Arrows stole the show with their excellent flying arts, sometimes they flew with a separating distance of only two meters. |
