The car was loaded with aerial ammunition and pulled a trailer, an Ammunition Trailer, loaded with 1.5 tons of missiles, capsules and rockets. The entire vehicle could weigh 6 tons fully loaded.
The car can also maneuver and tow aircraft weighing up to 20 tons.
The car was part of a reconnaissance squad, along with a tanker and a tow truck. The reconnaissance squad was carrying out its tasks at an air base.
450 cars were acquired. About 50 remain in the Air Force today.
