This distinct WW2 Royal Navy fighter has never before been produced as injected kit in 1/48 scale. This two seater aircraft carried only fixed forward-firing armament, the observer-navigator had no gun at his disposal. The biggest handicap in combat with the enemy was its weight and size. Despite this, in 1940 the Fulmar became the most successful fighter serving with the Royal Navy. Fulmars fought over the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean against all three Axis Powers aircraft. The kit consists of 5 sprues with plastic parts and 1 sprue with clear parts. The kit is highly detailed. Decals offer three aircraft in different styles of markings, mapping the evolution of the Fulmar’s camouflage.
