The Handley Page Victor was a British jet-powered strategic bomber, with the K.2 variant serving mainly as an in-flight refueling tanker. XL 191 was built for the Royal Air Force in September 1961 and faithfully served with 55 Squadron, notably providing tanker support during the Falklands War in 1982.
The Victor K.2 crash-landed short of the runway in Hamilton, Ontario in 1986. Parts of it were donated to the Canadian Warplane Heritage, but the nose was sold to Walter Soplata and became part of his collection in 1987. MotoArt is pleased to preserve the plane in the form of a limited edition of PlaneTags.
