And now for something completely different! A beautifully made 1/32 kit of one of the most colourful racing aircraft ever flown.Originally modified in 1966 for Mike Carroll by Vern Baker and crew at Long Beach, CA Signal Sea Fury raced successfully in the 1967 Harold's Club cross continent race, going on to become Miss Merced flown by Dr.Sherman Cooper.
The model has a highly modified airframe including a clipped and smoothed one piece wing with full wheel well detail, cleaned-up fuselage and throw over Formula One type canopy. The stripped down cockpit and completey new dash panels are all faithfully captured in highly detailed resin and photo etched metal. Landing gear are cast in jeweler's brass, and decals are provided to model Signal Sea Fury or Miss Merced in 1966-70 trim. The intricate flame design is supplied as a decal , making this outrageous paint-job easy.
