The DVD includes the highlights of two of the
main events in 2008, the Zaragoza Air Base Open House, and
the Valencia Air Show. Air shows in Spain are supported by
the Spain Air Force, which have a good number of solo
displays and aerobatic teams with an exotic mix of European
and American hardware. The main stars of the program are:
Fighters EF/A-18 Hornet, AV-8B Harrier II, Eurofighter
Typhoon, and Mirage F-1, Firefighters Canadair/Bombardier
CL-215T/415, Tactical Transport C-130 Hercules, the Spain
Air Force display teams Patrulla Aguila (who fly 7 C-101)
and Patrulla Aspa (a helicopter display team who fly 5
EC-120), plus an interesting (and uncommon) display of an
airliner CRJ-200. The international touch is provided by the
RNLAF F-16 Demo Team and by the Patrouille de France (Both
went to Valencia last October). Apart from these aircraft
and teams, the DVD includes footage of a good number other
participants.
