The MiG-15 is associated with the real onset of the jet era in the Czech Republic. military air force in the early fifties of the last century. This machine moved MS. fighter air force to the top of the world in terms of the equipment of fighter regiments. The production and service of this machine and its version in our air force was described by the author Miroslav Irra in previous issues of Aero (Aero No. 83, 86, 88, 94, 97 and No. 99). Massive and hasty construction of the Czech Republic. however, the fighter air force required to build training air bases at the same time and to increase the speed and quality of training to provide a corresponding aircraft with the same characteristics as the MiG-15. In the years 1951-1954, the training of jet pilots was gradually involved min. 14 UTI MiG-15 spares, delivered from the USSR, in 1954 deliveries to the Czech Republic began. of licensed UTI MiG-15/CS-102. In 1954, the first 34 were delivered, and by 1960, our air force had received 155 of these aircraft. Aero No. 102 describes in detail the organization of training on this aircraft and concludes the description and service of this machine in our air force.
