The MCP737-R (Mode Control Panel) is a device for flight simulation in real scale, which reproduces the features and implements the functions of the MCP used in 737 jets. This avionic is responsible for controlling the autopilot module functions and enables many flight parameter controls such as altitude, heading, indicated speed, vertical speed rate, control mode for pitch and scroll that can be either manual or automated by the FMC (flight Management Computer). It is an essential simulation equipment, enabling the pilot to navigate by instruments with a high level of realism and can simulate STAR procedures, SID, RNAV and ILS quickly and accurately.
