OUR PLANE'S STORY

This Boeing 717, the 37th of 156 constructed, was originally delivered to Bangkok Airways in July 2000 as HS-PGP, beginning a storied journey through various liveries and carriers throughout its lifetime. Next, it made the transition from serving Spanair as EC-KNE to Blue1 as OH-BLP. In 2016, under the registration N987DN, it became an integral part of Delta Air Lines' fleet, traversing short and medium-haul domestic routes. Now, in 2024, it takes on a new identity in the PlaneTags collection.

The Boeing 717, born from McDonnell Douglas' MD-95 project and later integrated into Boeing's portfolio, represented a significant milestone in aviation. As a versatile narrow-body jetliner tailored for short to medium-range flights, it filled a crucial niche in the market, facilitating efficient operations for regional airlines and low-cost carriers.
