Product description

Boeing 757 Timelines takes you behind the scenes of one of the most iconic aircraft in aviation history.
In the late 1960s, as the legendary Boeing 747 soared into the skies, Boeing set its sights on revolutionising narrow-body aviation. The result? The groundbreaking Boeing 757, born out of cutting-edge design concepts and technological advancements.
Discover the 757's unique role in transatlantic travel, serving smaller airports and making memorable journeys for passengers. For flight crews, it became a trusted companion, known for its dependability and exceptional handling, especially at smaller airports.
While the 757's commercial success was modest in terms of numbers, its impact was monumental. It continues to operate today, with a growing presence in the cargo industry. Beyond commercial use, the 757 plays vital roles in military and government operations, and as a flying test bed for cutting-edge aviation technologies.
In this book you'll explore the 757's evolution, design, and development, and witness its remarkable career through colour photographs, technical information, fleet lists and more.
For aviation enthusiasts and anyone fascinated by the magic of flight, Boeing 757 Timelines is a must-read by a respected aviation author. Dive into the world of the Boeing 757 and celebrate its remarkable journey through the skies.
