Your reliable Aviation Book Source since 1989
After the release of the successful title We flew the MiG-29, another novelty from this area comes, the book I Served the MiGs by Vladimír Kolá?ek. The author graduated from the Military Aviation College in 1985 and began his professional career as a MiG-23 technician in the 11th Fighter Air Regiment in Žatec. In the form of separate personal stories and sometimes intimate experiences or reflections, it introduces readers not only to the service and life of ground aviation specialists in the Czechoslovak army, but later to Slovakia, where he participated in building modern Slovak air force as an expert in engineering and aviation. He ends his story by leaving for the civilian sector in 2004 and the stories associated with that period.
