Written by two experts on the topic, the volume covers the developments and changes in military aircraft and airports around Northern Ireland during peace and war, and includes much previously unpublished material.

This volume is the first of three and concerns the story of military aviation in the Province over the last 100 years. It will be followed by works on civil aviation and then aircraft and aerospace manufacturing.
