Bob McIntyre's unique CF5/NF5 Freedom Fighter book is a l;ogical follow up of his CF1094 Masteropiece and has over 600 photos – many rare and unpublished. The book covers development, production, service history, safety record, what it is like to fly, plus photos and fates of each individual aircraft.
It has taken many years of research, analyzing, re-working, writing, testing with printing, but this summer IFS member Bob McIntyre finished his second masterpiece. The book he always wanted after his CF104 book is now ate the printers and available soon. Bob has been wandering around Montreal (Canadair location) from the early seventies to assure he could make pictures of any produced F5 for the Canadian Air Force but also for the Dutch Air Force and the countries to which the surplus planes went to (Turkye, Venzuela, Boytswanma) So aside lots of interesting information also lots of beautiful Air to Air pictures can be found inside this super edition to Canadian and Dutch Aviation history
Bob is now workimng ob a book on the CT41 Tutor which sadly will fade from the skies soon as recently it was announced in Canada that the RCAF is closing down the Snowbirds aerobatic team at the end of this season after 55 years, and with that grounding the Tutor fleet.
There will be a special section in the Tutor book with Bob's best air-to-air photos he took while flying with them from 1985 to 2004 during photo flights, media flights and during full airshow practice flights. Keep an eye on our website for more news
Unfortunately due to risen costs on all levels the price of the book is high but will be worthwhile every Euro
