2021 marks the end of the C-160 Transall with the German Luftwaffe. For 54 years, the aircraft has faithfully served as a transport aircraft and by doing so has been operated in many theatres around the world. We thought a complete photographical portrait of this European transport aircraft was long overdue, so we made a 116 page book, picturing aircraft of Germany, France, Turkey and even South Africa! No detail is overlooked in this newest of the series!
The differences between the types are all shown in this book, even the Electronic warfare version, the C-160G Gabrile, in service with the Armée de l'Air is included, even though only two of them were ever built. More than 250 photos show the Transall in detail and some surprising dynamic action
