Consolidated OA10 (PBY5A) Catalina Search and rescue

This is a Minicraft 14760 1:144 USAAF Search and Rescue OA-10 Airplane Plastic Model Kit. A plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the PBY Catalina operated by the US Army Air Force on a 1/144 scale. It reproduces the US Army specification OA-10A of PBY-5A which became an amphibious aircraft equipped with retractable wheels. Finished length is about 13 cm, wingspan is about 22 cm. A model that accurately reproduces the shape of a flying boat can be assembled by either retracting the retractable wheels. The panel lines of the aircraft are expressed as concave lines. Marking contains two types of aircraft operated by the US Army Air Force in the Pacific during the war. The decals are made of the high quality and familiar Italian Cartograf.
