  About the Aircraft

  The F-15J Eagle is a twin-engine, all-weather air superiority fighter in use by Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) since 1982.
  The F-15J Eagle modernized version is modificated according to the Japan-Multi-Stage Improvement Program, which is called J-MSIP, and equipped with IRST system (infa-red search and track system), and is a method for detecting and tracking objects.
  
  The F-15J wears normally air-superiority camouflage, but adds some special markings for the combat practice and airbase festival.
  In "Airbase Festival in Komatsu" which was scheduled to be held in September, 2017 but cancelled due to a big typhoon, the 306th squadron has added yellow eagle emblem on its tail.
  It was spotlighted for its powerful images reminding the nickname of the unit "Golden Eagles".

  This is an unpainted assembly plastic model kit for 1/72 scale.
  Glue and paint is not included.
  The Base kit is Platz latest F-15J modernized modification kit with a high reproduction of shape and detailed parts, such as the antenna fairing on the side of the air intake.
  The silk-screen printing decal is printed by Cartograf with high quality and fine colors.
  The finish is about 276mm in length, and about 183mm in width.
  There are 2 painting schemes of #906 with special marking and #928 equipped with IRST.
