Humber Armoured Car Mk.IV (Also Used by Dutch Army in Indonesia) (BACK IN STOCK)

From documentation from 1948 we can deduce that the Royal Netherlands Army had 60 of these armoured cars under its management in 1948. Since the MKIV came directly from the various British and Canadian dumps, only 25 of these 60 copies were not operational. In order to be operational, some overdue maintenance had to be completed. In the same period of 1948, the Ministry of Defence purchased another 73 of these MKIVs in England. A large part of these armoured cars were intended to be deployed in the police actions in our former Dutch East Indies. They were shipped at the same time as the 4th, 5th and 6th squadron of armoured cars of the Hussar Regiment of Boreel, which was normally stationed in the Prince Willem III barracks in Amersfoort, in Southampton on the SS Kota Inten of the Rotterdam Lloyd, which would take the whole lot to Java.
