The shortened version of the AS-5 with the same scale markings in 1:500,000 & 1:250,000 scales. Particularly useful for in-flight distance measuring, it is small enough to keep with your kneeboard or flightboard for whenever you need a quick and accurate distance measurement, for example, during in-flight position fixing or diversion planning.
