The main purpose of this book is to provide Pilots, Flight Dispatchers and ATC Controllers
with ICAO IFR Procedures and FAA IFR Procedures published in a single document
for quick reference. In contrast to the FAA FAR/AIM, the ICAO IFR Procedures are
contained in various annexes and documents. Therefore I decided to create a compendium of all those documents (inclusive the FAR/AIM) referring to instrument procedures.
These documents have been transcribed with the utmost care; large and complex
sentences are modified into concise language and short sentences, and placed in an attractive readable format. Relevant rules or procedures are highlighted. For your crossreference with the official documents, strict attention has been paid to keep the original numbered chapters, sections and paragraphs.
A word of caution: The official ICAO/FAA documents always have preference over the contents of this book. These contents are strictly meant for training and reference purposes, only.
