Ex Attack Squadron AS72010
The UAV helicopter is an example of a vehicle that can be very useful in naval aviation or in the situation were the armed forces cannot count on airfields and all related infrastructure. The American MQ-8B Fire Scout helicopter is among the newer vehicles of the type. The design o this helicopter was derived from the two-seat civilian Schweizer 333. It is worth noting here that the name MQ-8 applies more to the previously mentioned system of an unmanned helicopter plus its control background than to the machine itself. The MQ-8A was a smaller machine of the same parentage (Schweizer 330), while the planned much bigger MQ-8C will be based on the Bell 407. The resin model released by Attack Squadron has been designed using latest technologies of 3D modelling and 3D printing. This allowed it to be very accurate and compatible with the original. This exotic looking modern mean of reconnaissance and combat is very simple to assemble. After quick and easy cutting out from moulding blocks it can be fully assembled within an hour. It is worth stressing here that this is possible using a minimum of glue and no filling at all. The modeller can choose options without armament or with various variants of APKWS and Viper Strike missiles attached. The marking sets included in the kit allow finishing the model in US Navy United Arab Emirate Air Force colours, in light grey low visibility camouflage
