This book describes the 40 year history of South Africa's demonstration team, Die Silwervalke, or Silver Falcons in plain English.
Published on the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Silver Falcons in 1967, this book provides a pictorial history of the official aerobatic team of the SAAF. Starting with a brief history, including it's predecessor - the Bumbling Bees, a section is devoted to each team. Each section includes photos and commentary from the team leader.
The book also includes colour profiles of both the Impala Mk I and the Astra, as well as lists of all the teams (up to team 65 of 2007), Silver Falcon members and a complete display log up to and including display 524 at the Mafikeng Air Show on 7 October 2007.
