As its Dual Combo edition suggests, it will be possible to build two models from this kit. It will contain decals for six German aircraft and will also offer the option to build Hungarian, Croatian, Italian, and post-war Czechoslovak aircraft. Among the German aircraft in popular late-war camouflage schemes will be Erich Hartmann's personal aircraft. This kit is a very important step in our line of 1/72nd scale 109s. The Bf 109G-10 variant was last released as a kit from a new metal mold in the mid-1990s. Our kit will offer different versions of this production variant, i.e., aircraft produced by Messerschmitt at Regensburg, Erla in Leipzig, and Wiener Neustädter Fabrik (WNF), which has not been available to modelers in this quality until now. It will also offer the opportunity to build a variant of the Bf 109G-14/ AS that no mainstream manufacturer has offered before. Three different main sprues are available in the kit, containing three versions of the fuselage. Each sprue also includes two versions of the wings, with the same wing versions across all three sprues. After building two models, one sprue with fuselage and wings will remain. The combination of sprues in this kit does not allow you to build any combination of decal versions. Only one model each of the Bf 109G-10 Erla, Bf 109G-10 WNF, and Bf 109G-10 Messerschmitt or Bf 109G-14/AS versions can be built. You cannot build two Bf 109G-10 Erla models, two Bf 109G-10 WNF models, nor a combination of the Bf 109G-10 Messerschmitt and Bf 109G-14/AS models, as the fuselage and wing frames for the Bf 109G-10 Messerschmitt and Bf 109G-14/AS are identical and are only available in one kit. If a modeler wants to build such a combination of two models of the same version of the aircraft, the necessary kit can be purchased in the Overtrees range. As a bonus, the Royal Class kit will include resin parts (exhausts and two types of main landing gear wheels) and wheel well plugs from Omask.
