RAF Air Campaigns 1991- 2021

Since the 1991 Gulf War the Royal Air Force has been continuously on operations around the world.  The span of missions undertaken by the modern RAF is unprecedented; from fighting high intensity wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, to policing Balkan no fly zones and protecting refugees in Libya and Sierra Leone.

This publication summarises the main air campaigns of the RAF over the past 30 years.  Each campaign that the force has been involved in has its own section that records the major events, as well as profiling the RAF aircraft and squadrons that were involved.
