Its first flight took place in 1925. It was a military version of a civil flying boat Swan and replaced Felixtowe flying boats. Mark I with wooden hull was soon replaced by Mark II with a hull made of duraluminium. The aircraft was powered with two Napier Lion engines and was manned by a crew of five. Altogether 24 Mark I and 42 Mark II planes were built. They were in use up to 1937.
Main struts are extra reinforced with steel wires. Set includes 223 pieces. Decals allow to make a model in RAF and Australian RAF painting schemes.
