Preserve a rare piece of Burmese aviation history with this historically accurate decal set for the Boeing 727-100 in the Union of Burma Airways 1974 livery.
Union of Burma Airways was the national carrier of Burma, operating during one of the most isolated periods in the country's history. By 1974, Burma was under military rule and largely closed to the outside world, yet UBA continued flying its Boeing 727-100s on domestic routes connecting Rangoon with regional cities across this vast and diverse country. Operating behind what was effectively an Asian Iron Curtain, the airline left almost no trace in Western aviation literature — making this livery one of the rarest and most sought-after in the entire Southeast Asian region. Very few decal manufacturers have ever reproduced a UBA livery.
This decal set faithfully reproduces the complete 1974 Union of Burma Airways livery: fuselage titles, airline markings, registration numbers, and full window lines — all researched from historical photographic references.
What's included:
- Full livery decals for the Boeing 727-100 (Union of Burma Airways 1974)
- Fuselage titles, UBA markings, and registration numbers
- Available in scale: 1/144
