F16AM Fighting Falcon (FA-132 "100 Years 1st Sqn Stingers" Belgian Air Force 1917-2017)

The Squadron I was founded in april 1913, as the first dedicated squadron of the Aviation Militaire Belge, it became 1st Fighter Squadron on 22nd February 1916.

In August 1917, upon receiving the new Hanriot HD 1 aircrafts, the 1st Squadron received the famous "Thistle" as Squadron insigna and the motto "Nemo me impune lacessit" ("No-one can challenge me unpunished") like the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle in Scotland.

In 2017, the 1st squadron is a part of 2nd Wing based on Florennes and is equiped with F-16s.
To celebrated its century, a ceremony is organized for the event, and the F-16 number FA-132 was specially painted with a scotish style tartan over the fuselage, Thistles on tail and the motto "Nemo me impune lacessit" on tanks.
This F-16 took part to several airshows in Europe during 2017 season.

This decals set contain all markings to complete this aircraft. Two options are included, permitting the choice to complete the "tartan" (black/grey stripes) by decals or by paint (based on decals shapes).
