Product description
The ITA2767S MACCHI C.200 Series XXI-XXIII comes in the Aeronautica Militare 100th Anniversary version. The kit includes: new parts, PE sheet and a super decals sheet.
Designed by the famous engineer Mario Castoldi, the Macchi Mc 200 was an important step forward in the development of Italian fighter aircraft. The 14-cylinder Fiat A.74 RC 38 double radial engine had a power of 840 hp. and gave the aircraft a top speed of 500 km/h. However, compared to the fighter aircraft of the Allied forces, it was weaker and had less firepower; the only armament consisted of two 12.7 mm. Breda-SAFAT machine guns mounted above the characteristic engine housing.
