Product description
The F-2B #101 operated by the Air Development and Test Wing — based at Kakamigahara in Gifu Prefecture — is the third prototype in the series and the first two-seat version of the plane. It is used to evaluate factors such as flutter & spin, comms/navigation/IFF and mission performance. It's marked in a high-visibility white scheme with red and blue trim. As #101 is used to test spin characteristics, the aircraft is fitted with a spin recovery parachute ("spin chute") during those trials and has additional mounting hardware in the tail to make that possible.?Moulded in white plastic, with decals provided for the red and blue markings?Includes new parts to recreate F-2B spin chute mounting hardware
