Some aircraft are remembered for decades of service. VT-WJC stands out for the opposite reason: its story ended far earlier than expected. The Airbus A320neo was delivered to GoAir on December 21, 2018, later flew under Go First, and remained in regular airline service for only 1,273 days — just 3 years, 5 months and 26 days. Reported problem areas included the fan blades, an oil seal, and the combustion chamber lining, while the shortage of available replacement engines made the situation even worse. Technical issues turned into an operational and financial crisis that Go First ultimately could not overcome.
