The Italian Aviation Series series is enriched with an important book,
of no less than 140 pages, which deals with one of the prides of the
European aeronautical industry and in service with many of the NATO and non-NATO air forces. In Italy the Eurofighter Typhoon is used by the 4th Wing of Grosseto, the 36th Wing of Gioia del Colle, the 37th Wing of
Trapani Birgi and the 51st Wing of Istrana, as well as by the
Experimental Test Department. The book deals exhaustively with the
genesis of the project, the construction materials, the electronics, the
armament and the use of the Typhoon not only in Italy, but also in all
the countries that use it, European and non-European. Its last chapter
about modeling tells us about the Typhoons of the Italian Air Force
through a series of images of beautifully made models.
