Reprint of the original volume 1 and 2 in one book! Long since out of print and much requested
The Messerschmitt Me 109 G and K are the most powerful versions of this aircraft used in WWII. More than five hundred aircraft designated as the fighter version S-199 and the training version CS-199 were assembled and manufactured from the remains of the hundred and twenty-two scattered throughout the territory of Czechoslovakia at airports and factories. The machines served in our air force until the beginning of the 1960s, and some were exported to Israel, where they took part in battles with Arab countries. The second part follows on from the first and describes the armament of the S/CS-199 aircraft, its development and use. The next chapter summarizes in detail the accidents in combat and training formations, followed by the marking and camouflage used. There is no shortage of pilots' memories of this machine and its features. In the book you will find a list of all aircraft according to production numbers and a brief description of the service.
A4 format, 272 pages, hundreds of black and white. and dozens of color photos of machine details. 26 pages of detailed scale drawings. 24 color drawings.
