Pictorial Story of the 106 Mirage M5 B of the Belgian Air Force (BACK IN STOCK)

The third book published by the Belgian Mirage 5 Pilots Association (MPA) is a photo album that de illustrates the operational career of each of the 106 Mirages in the Belgian Air Force. There are 106 fantastic side views in, drawn by Johan Wolfs, and 507 mostly unpublished photos, of which sixty-two are complete take page. Each chapter deals with an aircraft and with a short text outlines its operational life and maintenance of it with possibly some nice anecdotes. A table shows for each aircraft, month by month, from February 1970 to January 1994, an overview of the most important periods in its existence. To the fervent modellers, two chapters contain an overview of some 330 names of crew chiefs and pilots listed on our Mirages at one time or another. One of the last chapters is about the return of a Mirage two-seater to Belgium, the only one so far, and the TEAM BD 09 responsible for the maintenance and displaying it in DronePort, at the former air force base in Sint-Truiden, Belgium.
