Red Stars Over Afghanistan - the mnost important Battle operations 1979-1989 is the second part of the upcoming trilogy. The work is the result of a long and laborious effort with which the author collected personal documentary memories of military combat pilots deployed during various periods of war in Afghanistan between 1979 and 1989. Combat operations, especially the Soviet 40th Army, did not disappear without loss. The reader may be surprised that in nine years of fighting, the losses were quite high. Many pilots have died worthy ... The motto of the book is also compelling: "The fallen pilots of the helicopters will go straight to paradise because they have been in hell."
The publication contains 184 pages and includes a 3-sided flyer with a detailed, over 50 cm long sU25 FROGFOOT drawing.
PLEASE NOTE: Text unfortunately only in Czech but the 100's of operartional pictures, many in colour make up for it
