Two sorties flown F/Lt Josef Hanuš in May 1943, 600Sqn,Algeria
On the night of 16 July 1943 F/Lt John Turnbull shot down two Ju 88s
over Sicily to take his score to 7.5 – he destroyed six enemy aircraft
during the course of the month.
Turnbull had taken his score to 12.5 by the time his tour expired.
