Vought F2G Super Corsair "Racing Aircraft"

When the Kamikaze attacks first occurred, the Allies tried to find an effective defense against these attacks. One of the solutions was to design an extremely powerful fighter aircraft with excellent climbing ability and speed. One of these fighters was the F2G Super Corsair. Only 10 aircraft were produced before the end of WW2, most of them were sold to civilian users and became the stars of the post-war pylon races. The new F2G kit offers such one fancy racer aircraft. The original aircraft has recently been refurbished to flying status.
