A319 (US Airways Piedmont Retrojet Early)

In 2006, US Airways painted four Airbus A319 aircraft in "Retro " paint schemes of some of the airlines that were merged into the airline through the years. This decal provides the original markings for N744P, which proudly wears the colors of Piedmont Airlines. The aircraft was initially painted with a shade of blue that was too light. Many former Piedmont employees at the airline complained about this color, and a couple other details, which prompted the airline to repaint the aircraft.
