Product description
The B-47 Stratojet was a mainstay of the USAF Strategic Air Command throughout the early years of the Cold War and represented a quantum leap in operational capability and performance when it entered service. The Stratojet proved to be highly reliable and adaptable, and more than 2000 examples were produced for a variety of different roles.
Our 1/72 scale B-47 sheet is a tribute to this outstanding aircraft and the crews that flew and maintained it. Designed for the Hasegawa kit, this set provides markings for no fewer than 20 Stratojets of various versions, colorful and intricate unit insignia, special markings for several competition winners, accurate stencilling, markings for RATO bottles and Rascal missiles and wing walkways.
