Since early 1970s the Army Air Corps (AAC) used several painting schemes on its helicopters fleet. Initial BS Olive Drab + Black scheme was used well into 1990s, when a new scheme of BS Olive Green + BS Medium Sea Grey was introduced. The latter is still in use on Lynx AH.7/9s and Bell 212s, parallel to US Army Helicopter Drab (FS34031) used on Apache AH.1 fleet. The new AW159 Wildcat (Lynx Wildcat) feature the scheme (shared with Royal Navy airframes) of BS Medium Sea Grey + BS Dark Sea Grey. This paint set also covers the Operation Granby (1991 Gulf War) period, in which several field-improvised camouflage schemes (with use of BS Light Stone and / or FS30279) were applied onto Lynx AH.7s and Gazelle AH.1s.
Contains the following colours (acrylic paints, water-based, optimised for use with brush):
- HTK-B146 – BS Olive Drab – BS381C:298, used in 1970s-90s in standard camouflage scheme of AAC helicopters and fixed wing aircraft
- HTK-B125 – NATO Black – Used between 1970s and 1990s in standard camouflage scheme of AAC helicopters and fixed wing aircraft
- HTK-B236 – BS Olive Green – BS381C:220, used since 1990s in standard camouflage scheme of AAC rotors (Scout, Gazelle, Bell 212, Lynx)
- HTK-B141 – BS Medium Sea Grey – BS381C:637, used since 1990s in standard camouflage scheme of AAC helicopters. Also on AW159 Wildcat
- HTK-B144 – BS Dark Sea Grey – BS381C:638, used in standard camouflage scheme of AAC and Royal Navy AW159 Wildcat (Lynx Wildcat)
- HTK-B237 – BS Light Stone – BS381C:361, used for field-improvised camouflage of AAC Lynx AH.7s and Gazelle AH.1s during Op Granby
- HTK-B068 – US Army Desert Sand – FS30279, used for field-improvised camouflage of AAC Lynx AH.7s and Gazelle AH.1s during Op Granby (1991 Gulf War)
- HTK-B067 – US Army Helicopter Drab – FS34031, standard overall colour of US Army helicopters, also used on AAC Westland Longbow Apache AH.1 fleet
