Model is made after a picture of an RAF truck in Greece
British Army and RAF Lorries (a '39 Ford COE followed by a Chevrolet) carrying British, Australian and New Zealand troops to a southern port during the retreat from Greece. April-May 1941. (note the reg. plate on the front of the Ford, is also printed in Arabic, as the vehicle would have originally come over from Egypt in North Africa).
