Product description

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII design never materialized Horten HoXVIII, a jet powered flying wing design for a long range bomber in Japanese service.

Japan did recall manufacturers for a such long range bombers project, able to raid U.S. from Japan itself or closest islands. Named Project Z (bomber project), three main designs were started, Nakajima G10N, Kawasaki Ki-91, and Nakajima G5N, none was materialized beyond design stages except the Nakajima G5N, a four-engined heavy bomber with 6 prototypes build. Sadly ModelCollect just reuses here the work done for the German Horten HoXVIII which is not related at all to the real Project Z.

Fictional variant of kit UA72217 Horten HoXVIII with new decals for Japanese WWII and probably (but not confirmed) different weapons payload.
