Product description
Project Pluto was actually the programme to develop a nuclear ramjet engine for the Supersonic Low Altitude Missile, the full-size Tory-IIC prototype was successfully ground-tested in a complex enclosed facility. Although called a missile, it was actually an unmanned bomber programmed to overfly a series of targets distributing thermonuclear warheads using “over-the-shoulder” delivery techniques.
