The S-3 Viking was the backbone of the US Navy's carrier-based anti-submarine and surface surveillance capabilities for decades. This meticulously designed decal set offers a variety of marking options for this versatile aircraft, including the rare US-3A Carrier On-board Delivery (COD) version.
Featuring a total of seven different aircraft from various units & carrier air wings that operated the "Hoover," this first set chronicles the earlier years of the Viking's long and distinguished career. From colorful 1970s era to a unique NATC example, these markings allow you to build a unique model of this important naval asset.
These decals were designed to fit the 1/48 scale Esci S-3 Viking kit (also re-boxed by AMT/ERTL and later acquired by Italeri).
